Simpson Richard Edward ENGINEERING DOCTORATE Congratulations to our son Richard Simpson for achieving his PHD in Engineering. A previous student of Penrice School and graduate of Bristol University. After seven years of countless evenings and weekends, 120000 words and 458 pages of his thesis he has earned the title of Doctor. We are very proud parents indeed. June and Ted Simpson
